I do want your money

Apologies for the payment hook-up hiccup ;-)

A short hello — and an explanation for all you Squishers who have offered to pay me, and are (understandably) baffled as to why I don’t seem to be taking your $$.

I’m working on it! Substack is pretty fun. Stripe, the payment system, is not.

In the meantime… Here is one of my favorite pictures of my dad. He loved his dog, Fergie. He loved the park. He loved those roses there behind him. This substack is still young, and when I veer into frustration, I don’t want the love to go missing. For all it can be so hard, they’re so worth it. We love them, these older folks. Or we try. Or we donate to a cause they care about. You know? None of it’s perfect. You’re doing fine. And so am I. One day I hope to believe it.
